The Buffalo Effect

The Buffalo Effect, a United King production directed by Lior Ashkenazi, is a "Dark comedy based on the story of Eyal Malachi, founder of the 'Asufi' foundation. In it, Shai plays comic relief Aliza, an American who works in the rehabilitation department. When she sees how the system has failed them, she decides to help the team of veterans in their plot to be recognized by the state.

Cast includes Dov Navon, Mariano Idelman, Rotem Abuhav, Maor Cohen, Amir Shurush, Dar Zuzovsky, Omer Etzion, and Avi Dangur. Currently in postproduction, expected release 2027.
